The gaming industry offers huge potential whether you are indie developer or giant gaming publisher but as an indie developer how do you stand out from the crowd?

Apps World Europe offers you the chance to quiz the guys that have done just that – finding out what they did right, and more importantly what they did wrong, to ensure you get the best visibility for your game and ensure the greatest chance for success.

Day one of the Apps World Europe conference, held on October 22-23 at Earls Court 2, will see an interactive session with a selection of key indie game developers where you will get the chance to pose your questions live both before, and during the event.

The Going Mobile – Challenges for Indies session will help you break through the gaming competition to win, by picking the brains of the likes of Ben Murch, co-founder of Rodeo Games- the company behind the number one game Warhammer Quest, and Alex Ryley, managing director of Mutant Labs.  You can meet some of the developers who are taking part at here submit your questions via the YouTube channel or via email Hannah@sixdegs.com.

Following the interactive Q&A session you will also get the unique chance to vote for the winner of indie gaming category of the Appsters, the annual awards ceremony for the apps industry which is part of the Apps World conference.

The shortlist of potential winners will be presented to the audience, allowing them to pick their favourite indie and, if you are a Networking or Gold pass holder you will also get the chance to see the winner presented with their prize at the Appsters Awards ceremony later in the evening (at Kensington’s Roof Gardens).

And that’s just day one! The indie games developer theme will continue on day two, with your own chance to show off your talent. The Big Indie Pitch, in association with Vserv and GameSpark and organised by leading gaming online magazine Pocket Gamer, will see indie game developers present their games and gaming strategies to a collection of gaming journalists in a two hour showcase session. They will then vote on their overall gaming champion, with great prizes up for grabs at the end of the session.  Find you would like to take part please click here.

Apps World Europe will also include the Indie Game Zone where, over the full two days of the show, you can take a table-top stand to promote your game to Apps World Europe visitors and press with the only cost from you your time and some branding for your table top.
