The countdown to RevLive.11 has really begun. Jo Hernandez, RunRev Event Organizer Extraordinaire, is winging her way to San Jose today to get started on making this event as great as all the other seminars and conferences she’s done for us. To be honest I’m jealous. A week in sunny California, staying at the lavish Dolce Hayes Mansion in the heart of Silicon Valley – what’s not to like? Jo’s there to make sure that we get the best from the hotel, confirm the route from San Fran and other important locations to the hotel and check out the local amenities. Hopefully she’ll find time for some spa pampering, shoe shopping, coffee drinking and generally much deserved R&R. She’s promised to send me some photos and updates while she’s there – keep an eye out for our tweets (I’m really looking forward to hearing about her scouting mission to the San Jose Technology Museum).
Meanwhile, back here in wet and windy Edinburgh the office entertained some students yesterday with pizza and beer. Don’t worry, it was all in the aid of research – the students were here to do product testing on the LiveCode user experience. They were all really keen (we had a hard time getting them to leave) and they loved LiveCode. They had brilliant feedback for us and made some excellent suggestions on how to make LiveCode even better and even easier to use. I don’t want to give anything away, but there will be some game changing enhancements coming soon to the LiveCode UI. Watch this space…..
