Networking is a key component of any event but a series of specific meet-up opportunities at Apps World Europe this October will allow you to make more relevant and lasting contacts than ever.
Apps World will be hosting a series of drinks receptions that will allow groups with specific interests in the mobile and apps world to get together to talk business and technology. On the evening of the first day of the show Mobile Monday London (@MoMoLondon) — the community for people involved in mobile – will host drinks in the exhibition bar from 5pm. The event will be followed by an open invite to a talk by The Mobile Academy (@Moblacad), which is part of Mobile Monday London.
For women looking specifically to meet their female peers in the industry Apps World Europe will also host a Women in Tech Meet Up – inviting local and international groups and associations that are working to specifically raise the profile of women in technology – to a drinks reception from 5pm on 22nd October at the central bar in the exhibition hall.
Apps World Europe will also host a series of lunch meet-ups where delegates can learn more about areas of interest. MEF, the global community for mobile content and ecommerce, will host a free privacy workshop at a lunch meeting the company is hosting on 23rd October at 1pm in Tech World. These three meet ups are free-to-attend and full details are listed here.
There will also be a series of invite only industry specific keynote breakfasts and lunches. These will include a keynote panel operators breakfast on 22nd October for senior level representatives from leading telecom operators and a networking lunch and roundtable discussion for CIOs on October 23rd.
When the serious work is done there will also be the chance to schmooze in style at the Appsters Award ceremony, hosted by comedian Simon Evans, at the Kensington Roof Gardens in London from 7.30pm till 9.30pm. It will be followed by the official Apps World party which runs till the early hours. Both events will be available for gold and networking pass holders to Apps World Europe.
Apps World Europe will also offer networking opportunities through its Apps World Connect tool which allows paid delegates to the event to connect via the networking tool to pre-plan and pre-book meetings and their schedule at the show.
