Hi I’m Elanor, I’ve been working at RunRev for 6 years now.

Elanor deep in conversation with Jim Ault, LiveCode Customer,

at the RunRevLive.11 conference in San Jose, April 2011.

I joined RunRev as part of the consulting division and over the years I have worked on a large and varied selection of projects. One thing this has done is prove to me how versatile LiveCode is; the projects we have produced or worked on with developers have ranged from small educational applications to games to media production tools.

I have recently moved into working more on development of the LiveCode IDE. While I still have some on-going consulting projects, I am really looking forward to working on LiveCode itself and being a part of the team delivering the product.

The first major project I have been involved in was the completion of the dictionary and I am currently finishing off the print version of the dictionary, it’s been a big job but it’s great to have an up to date dictionary.

I also recently presented the LiveCode Academy, a series of webinars, coursework and sample code to help both new and existing users get up and running with LiveCode by showing them how to make their first mobile app. It was a really fun project to work on  – everyone was so keen to learn and so involved in the project.  It was great interacting with our users, especially on something as current and exciting as mobile apps.
