If we were to sum up this week with a single word we’d have a little trouble picking just one, as it’s been an eventful five days packed full of highlights. But we’ve plumped for one that captures perfectly how we feel at the end of it all. Proud.

With the glorious Bournemouth sunshine filling our office, we started the week with plenty of excitement in the air when we launched a site that we’ve taken great pleasure in crafting for a brand new client. Encompassing a UI redesign, and creation of an e-learning platform, content management system and e-commerce functionality, the project has been a labour of love. Our fantastic project team have worked wonders to exceed client expectations, and we look forward to revealing more details very soon.

By midweek we were basking in more glory when we welcomed a great new client to our team. This was swiftly followed by discovering we’ve been shortlisted in the In Field Services category of the UK App and Mobile Design Awards for an enterprise app called Pulse 2014. Created especially for Retail Marketing, our long term software client and good friends, Pulse 2014 is an enterprise data analytical reporting app for use by hundreds of field retail marketing agents. Enabling business-wide collection of marketing data, Pulse 2014 is a multi-fuctional one stop shop which enables the field agents to fulfil each aspect of the role in the palm of their hand.

Working with Retail Marketing, who share our approach to fresh, innovative thinking, is always a pleasure. To be recognised by a national awarding body for our collaboration on Pulse 2014 is such a treat – there were plenty of chair dances all round that day. Discover more about the brilliance of Pulse 2014 here.

Our office buzz was boosted further when we welcomed our business neighbours to a World Cup lunch event in support of the wonderful Autism Wessex. Foodies, footie fans, brainboxes and gamers alike enjoyed picnic treats, a World Cup themed quiz and the launch of our FIFA PS4 tournament. Chatting and cupcake munching are specialities of ours, so to meet great people and raise money at the same time was an added pleasure.

A big thank you to Holt Recruitment, Schofields Accounting, Baqus Denley King, Nebular Solutions and Emily Pike from Autism Wessex for joining in the fun. We’re looking forward to flexing our thumb muscles in our FIFA matches over the coming weeks.

All in all, it’s been a week that’s reminded us how super proud we are of where we live, who we work with and what we continue to achieve. Decoded team, it’s been a pleasure. Shall we do it all again next week?
