Prior to Forrester Mike worked with Bank of America, as well as an independent consultant providing development, architecture and strategy services. His clients have included eBay, Fleet Bank, NASA and Thomas Publishing, to name but a few.

Mike’s focus is on application development & delivery and on User Experience..  This is a perfect fit with the theme of RunRevLive.11 where we plan to explore the exciting mobile space.  Mike’s research looks primarily at the tools and practices needed to develop and deliver high-quality applications, faster – something RunRev pride themselves on with LiveCode.    Take a look at his blog “The Seven Qualities of Wildly Desirable Software” to get a taste for what his talk will be like.

THE FUTURE OF MOBILE

Mike’s evening talk on Day One of RunRevLive.11 is set to be one of the highpoints of the conference.    Mike is sure to be a crowd pleaser, his informative and entertaining article “Java is a Dead-End for Enterprise App Development” was Forrester’s most read blog post of 2010.

Whether you’re a hobbyist or seasoned professional, this is a great chance to hear a Senior Forrester Analyst outline where the mobile market will be going over the next few years and what strategies you need to take now to come out on top. We’ll be publishing more details about his talk soon so watch this space.

The RunRevLive.11 conference is being held at the Dolce Hayes Mansion in the heart of Silicon Valley.  In addition to Mike there will be a panel of LiveCode professionals giving a wide variety of lectures, workshops and speeches about how to maximize your potential in the mobile and desktop application space.
