Today we’re thrilled to announce the release of LiveCode 4.6.4. This point release focuses on  the most requested new features,  fixes and enhancements that you, the customers, have asked for. We’re proud that we’ve been able to put out so many of these releases, which of course are free to 4.6 license holders. In particular, in this release we’ve really been able to deliver on the great feedback we get via the  LiveCode Developer list. You tell us what’s important to you, we listen, and we get it out there as quickly as we can in these .0X releases. This particular release brings you several much desired Server features, some really useful iOS additions, and an essential fix to the Android deployment option. Those Android guys inconsiderately updated their SDK recently and changed the file path we need to put things in. All sorted in 4.6.4.

Cookie support we know will be warmly welcomed, as well as forward compatibility with iOS 5.

We’re also very pleased that in conjunction with the release, we have provided a number of new lessons showing you how to use the introduced features – there isn’t a lot of point in having features that no-one can figure out how to use! Take a look at our lesson on the Multi Line Native Text for example.
